A repeat destination from our very successful 2009 tour, based in
the picturesque Austrian Tyrol. Seefeld lies on a sunny plateau
surrounded by stunning peaks and lush green meadows. This friendly
resort is well known for its winter sports, but equally beautiful in spring,
when it offers welcoming bars, quaint cafés, exquisite shops and even a
casino. This is an ideal spot for relaxing over coffee and strudel, with the
odd gentle stroll, or activities, such as alpine walking and golf. Splendid
views, Alpine flowers, magnificent local cuisine, and the warmest of
welcomes add up to make this break a perfect taste of the Austrian
Tyrol! Venturing across the famous Brenner Pass, with views of the
Dolomites we visit Vipiteno, in Italy for shopping & sightseeing. We
take in the ‘Peak of the Alps’ with the stunning scenery of Obergurgl,
to the very top of the glacier, over 9000 ft! The Tyrolean capital,
Innsbruck, is also on our exciting programme. Don’t miss the famous
Little Golden Roof or the imposing Abras Castle. Join our hosts for a
mountain barbecue, with traditional food and hospitality and enjoy
a typical Tyrolean evening at our delightful hotel.

Your Hotel
Nights 1 and 7 will be 3* hotels conveniently situated along our
route. Our main hotel, the 3* Hotel Marthe in Seefeld, is a
welcoming, comfortable family-run hotel with indoor swimming pool,
spa and sauna. It is peacefully situated at the edge of the village, away
from traffic, yet just a few minutes walk from the resort centre.
