Cream of Cornwall

Monday 4th October 2010

5 Days From £339 , By Coach

In the last decade Cornwall has emerged as one of the world's iconic destinations. St Agnes is a picturesque village on the north coast. Steeped in mining history, the village still retains a traditional friendly Cornish atmosphere and makes a wonderful base for your holiday. We visit the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan, which have been reborn as a spectacular estate with a working Victorian garden, a subtropical jungle and a magnificent complex of walled gardens. St Ives is the most famous of Cornish holiday towns with a maze of tiny cobbled streets to wander through, lined by fishermen's cottages. Trevarno Gardens are rare and special with a fascinating history stretching back to 1246. The magnificent gardens and grounds have been developed and extended over the centuries to become one of the finest in a county renowned for its gardening traditions. There is also the option to visit The Eden Project, one of England’s most interesting and unusual attractions. Our visits in Spring and Autumn should capture the region at its finest with a contrast of colours.
