Spend the day in Portsmouth, the world centre for maritime defence heritage. At its heart is HMS Victory, the remains of the Mary Rose and HMS Warrior, Britain's first ironclad battleship. Alternatively, the neighbouring resort of Southsea has its castle built by King Henry VIII and the famous D-Day Museum. Includes return coach travel.
