Denbies Wine Estate & Painshill Park
Friday 24 September 2010
Denbies Wine Estate, England’s largest vineyard, and Painshill Park, one of the 18th century’s great
landscape parks offer you an exclusive and diverse day out.
Painshill Park is a living work of art where landscape design and history come together spectacularly to
offer visitors 158 acres of breath-taking vistas, unusual Follies and a small Vineyard. Created during the
Georgian period, Painshill has been authentically restored and represents a fine example of award
winning conservation. Our visit includes a guided tour of around 90 minutes.
In contrast, Denbies Wine Estate was established in 1986 and has 265 acres of vines overlooking
Box Hill on the North Downs. Denbies is widely acknowledged as the finest example of a working winery
open to the general public. The Indoor cinema tour and wine tasting, seasonal outdoor vineyard train and
nature trail offer visitors a unique experience. Our visit includes an Indoor Wine Tour Experience & Tasting
which lasts approximately 50mins & the Outdoor Vineyard Train Tour which lasts approximately 45mins.
Denbies Wine Estate together with Painshill Park, offer an interesting and varied full day out that is not
weather dependent.
Includes return travel by coach and entrance to Denbies Wine Estate.
