LEONARDSLEE GARDENS ARE SOLD - LAST CHANCE TO SEE THE WORLD
FAMOUS GARDENS.
Leonardslee, the world renowned lake and gardens estate near Horsham in Sussex has
been sold by Savills. The spring season From April 1st to June 30th, when the
magnificent gardens are at their finest, will be the last time the the Loder family will open
their Grade l Listed gardens, complete with famous 'lawn mowing' wallabies, to the public.
Leonardslee boasts over 200 acres of Grade 1 gardens, set in a stunning valley with seven lakes. During May, when the Rhododendrons, Azaleas and other spring flowers come out the Gardens are said to be one of the best in Europe. The reflections in the lakes and flower-lined paths turn Leonardslee into a paradise.
Discover "Beyond the Dolls House" which is a miniture model town and country estate of c.1900. It is considered to be the best and largest of its kind in the world.
With a self-service restaurant, greenhouses and indoor exhibitions there is plenty to keep you occupied all day.
Some of the paths through the gardens have steps so they can be awkward to navigate and many paths are not suitable for wheelchair access, we would suggest the use of the upper paths from where good views of the gardens can still be enjoyed. The "Beyond the Dolls House" exhibition, Victorian Cars, Alpine House, Clock Tower Restaurant and Gift Shop are all wheelchair accessible. Disabled toilets are located adjacent to the car park.
