Groombridge Place Gardens & Enchanted Forest
Friday 27 August 2010
These award winning gardens, set in 200 acres of wooded parkland, feature a series of magnificent walled gardens set against the romantic backdrop of a 17th century moated manor house - including the Herbaceous Border, White Rose Garden, Drunken Topiary, Secret Garden, Knot Garden and Peacock Walk. In complete contrast, in the ancient woodland of the 'Enchanted Forest' there's mystery, magic and excitement to challenge the imagination of young and old alike. Children love the 'Dark Walk', Tree Fern Valley, Groms Village and the giant swings. There are also Birds of Prey flying displays every day and a canal boat cruise to and from the forest. Includes return travel by coach and admission to Groombridge Place and Enchanted Forest.
