To make the most of the city, we give you two free days to explore your favourite attractions, or alternatively join us for an optional excursion to Tatton Park on Sunday.

In 2018, Liverpool celebrated the 10th anniversary since being crowned European Capital of Culture and saw a record number of visitors as a result. The city has also been named the trhird best destination in the UK in the TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards, sitting only behind capital cities London and Edinburgh. So there’s no better time to visit and discover Liverpool’s attractions for yourself.

We stay in the Pullman Liverpool Hotel, modern and stylish accommodation centrally located in the historic docks area. You’ll be within walking distance of many attractions such as the Tate Liverpool, the Liver building, The Beatles Story and the Wheel of Liverpool. To explore the rest of the city, why not join of the hop on, hop off sightseeing buses?

History and Culture

Liverpool boasts more museums and galleries than any other city in the UK outside of London. The World Museum, the Museum of Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, International Slavery Museum, Merseyside Maritime Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery, Sudley House, and the Boarder Agency National Museum make up the National Museums of Liverpool – all of which are open seven days a week with free admission.

The city also holds two UNESCO accreditations: the historic waterfront is a world heritage site, and Liverpool is a UNESCO City of Music.

Musical Heritage

Liverpool is possibly most famous for its musical connections, including The Beatles and Cilla Black. Visit the Cavern Club on Mathew Street, and take a picture with the Cilla Black statue outside the original entrance. And you can’t come to Liverpool without experiencing some Beatlemania, whether it’s at The Beatles Story museum, on the Magical Mystery Tour of notable landmarks such as Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields, or at the newly opened Magical History Museum, featuring one of the largest singularly owned Beatles collections in the world.

Football Fans

A must for any Liverpool FC fans and certainly an interesting visit for supporters of any side: Anfield offers a stadium tour and visit The Liverpool FC Story museum, showcasing 126 years of the club’s history. The museum features a new Steven Gerrard collection, donated by the captain himself and including shirts, medals, trophies and more. The museum also pays a touching tribute to the 96 people who lost their lives at Hillsborough.

Day 1

Today we start our journey to the hotel, making a lunch stop in the charming town of Stratford-upon-Avon. With more than 800 years of history, Stratford contains many surviving buildings that would have been familiar in Shakespeare's day, but also a thriving modern community offering a wide variety of leisure, shopping and dining experiences. On arrival at the hotel we will be welcomed with tea or coffee and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

Enjoy a free day in Liverpool, exploring your top picks out of the city's many attractions. We also leave you free to enjoy the city's culinary delights for your evening meal.

Day 3

Spend a second day in Liverpool, or join us on an optional excursion to Tatton Park. This historical estate features a neo-classical mansion, 50 acres of landscaped Gardens, 1000 acres of deer park and a rare breeds farm. Tatton Park is now one of the most complete historic estates open to visitors. Entrance is not included but can be added during the booking process.
We return to Liverpool late afternoon, once again giving you a chance to try one of the city's restaurants for dinner.

Day 4

Today we make our return journey home, stopping in Royal Leamington Spa for lunch. Wide boulevards, stunning architecture and award-winning parks provide a sophisticated backdrop to the Regency town.
