Day 1

Today we start our journey to the hotel, stopping in Royal Leamington Spa for lunch. Wide boulevards, stunning architecture and award-winning parks provide a sophisticated backdrop to the Regency town. Often described as 'the best bits of London, all in a ten-minute walk' Leamington town centre combines a treasure-trove of independent boutiques and high street brands plus an array of cafes and restaurants. We will be welcomed at the hotel with a complimentary hot drink and aim to arrive with time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 3

Spend your day visiting some of the pretty towns of the Peak District and admiring the spectacular scenery. In the morning, we visit the market town of Bakewell. Idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, the biggest town in the Peak District National Park's mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards are a magnet for painters, photographers and sightseers alike. Perhaps best known for its unique and delicious Pudding, Bakewell has many more tempting treats to offer - ranging from shopping and specialist markets or just take a stroll and admire the scenery. After lunch, we make a stop in the charming village of Castleton, known as the 'Gem of the Peaks' before returning back to the hotel via the Ladybower Reservoir, which along with the Derwent and Howden reservoirs, was made famous during World War II when it was used by the Dambusters RAF squadron to practice low level flying techniques.
