  • Brick Lane Music Hall Show & Afternoon Tea

    Originally located in the former Truman's Brewery building in London's Brick Lane, you will now find the the Brick Lane Music Hall in the former church of St Mark's in Silvertown in the Royal Docks area of London. With various dates throughout the year, plus new dates regularly added, on this coach day trip you will enjoy an entertaining afternoon with with some of the finest music hall and variety artists from around the country whilst seated at tables in a cabaret-style arrangement.

  • The Girls at the Phoenix Theatre

    Based on the true story, film and stage play of Calendar Girls, this new musical comedy features original music by Gary Barlow and lyrics by Tim Firth, who wrote the original screenplay and West End play.

    The story follows the real-life women of a Yorkshire WI group who decide to raise money for a local hospital by posing nude for a calendar. The ladies become media sensations as the calendar flies off the shelves and must deal with the scrutiny that comes from life in the limelight.

    The Girls makes its West End debut after originally opening in Leeds, where it received standing ovations at every performance.

  • Mountbatten Festival of Music coach day trip

    The Mountbatten Festival of Music is a spectacular annual event held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The concert will feature the Massed Bands of Her Majesty's Royal Marines. The concert displays the outstanding versatility of some of the world’s finest military musicians. The shows are given the “West End” treatment with spectacular lighting effects.

    There really is something for everyone as the Royal Marines showcase their incredible musicianship and pageantry and features a wide range of musical styles, including music from the big screen and superb solo items. The Festival would not be complete without the traditional marches and overtures that have proved such a hit with audiences over the years. Proceeds go to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund and CLIC Sargent.

  • The London Festival of Railway Modelling

    The London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace is London's leading railway modelling event. Presented by the publishers of British Railway Modelling Magazine, supported by The Model Railway Club and sponsored by Hornby, Bachmann Branchline and Graham Farish, the Show is regarded as an essential event in the railway-modelling calendar. Join us for a day of all things railway modelling.

    The Model Railway Club have hand-picked 40 British, European and Continental layouts in a range of scale, gauges and eras. Each layout has been picked for its modelling excellence or unique features. Layouts on display include the Canada Street (EM) and Lancaster Green Ayre (O).

    Over 100 exhibitors including well known manufacturers will also be showcasing their product range, which includes models, tools, kits, parts and accessories as well as a number of specialist exhibitors selling hard to source items and products for specialist scales and gauges.

    Modelling tips and advice will also be available at the show in the demonstrations from expert modellers specially selected by The Model Railway Club. Local and national clubs, associations and societies will also be on hand to offer information and specialist tips and advice.

    For younger visitors there will be interactive activities and competitions one of which will encourage them to interact with the layouts as well as a colouring competition with fantastic modelling prizes to be won. Children can also ‘have a go’ at driving a model train on one of the two children’s layouts.

    An extended day trip from Kent to Bruges sure to delight classical music lovers as we witness one of Europe's finest orchestras - the Rotterdam Philharmonic, performing with foremost Argentinian Pianist Nelson Goerner, in Rachmaninov's celebrated Piano Concerto No 2 with the programme's international flavour then developed by much loved pieces from the repertoire of Claude Debussy and Ralph Vaughan-Williams.

    Our schedule allows for a relaxed start to the day as we make a mid-morning ferry crossing which gets us onward to Bruges around 14:00 local time.   After arriving in Bruges you should then have 5-6 hours available for sightseeing, shopping, and an early evening meal before we arrive at the Concertgebouw in good time for the start of the performance at 20:00.

    We are then timed to leave Bruges after the concert performance at around 22:30 local time, giving us plenty of time for a return ferry crossing normally at 00:20.  As we gain an hour on Calais time on the return journey we expect to be back in Kent around midnight our time, with our feeders then able to get you home in reasonable time with the roads quiet.

  • Star Wars Identities the Exhibition at the O2

    Start your day by Exploring rare treasures from the Lucasfilm archives in this unique experience at the O2 until September 2017.

    The stunning collection of some 200 props, models, costumes and artwork from the original Star Wars films, an interactive identity quest and insightful scientific content, all work together in STAR WARS Identities to follow the dramatic journeys of the characters and help you create your very own Star Wars identity.

    There's BB-8, R2-D2, Han Solo's Millennium Falcon and even an AT-AT. Other favourites, like Yoda, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Princess Leia, stormtroopers, and Darth Vader, are also on display. Dozens of these objects are being exhibited for the first time.

    After viewing the Star Wars Identities exhibit, you’re free to explore all the O2 has to offer. Take lunch in one of the many restaurants on offer, cruise the River Thames, ride in the Emirates Cable Car or enjoy a game of ten pin bowling.   • Stepping Out the Musical

    Amanda Holden heads a phenomenal cast in this wonderfully funny and heart-warming comedy which charts the lives of seven women and one man attempting to tap their troubles away at a weekly dancing class. Initially all thumbs and left feet, the group is just getting to grip with the basics when they are asked to take part in a charity gala…

    Over the course of several months we meet the group, and all of them have a story to tell, There’s haughty Vera, mouthy Maxine and uptight Andy; bubbly Sylvia and shy Dorothy; eager Lynne and cheerful Rose and, of course, Geoffrey. At the piano is the dour Mrs Fraser and spurring them all on, the ever-patient Mavis.
