  • Epsom Derby Day Special with Grandstand Admission

    Derby Day at Epsom Racecourse - Grandstand Enclosure

    The Derby dates back to 1780, and is still ranked the greatest flat race in the world.  With winnings of £1.25m, the Investec Derby has one of the biggest prizes in money in UK racing, matched only by the prestige that victory brings.  It remains the race that everyone wants to win, as horses and riders push themselves to the limit around the unique and challenging course.

    Situated in the heart of Epsom Downs in Surrey, the racecourse is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and has amazing views.

    We have 3 pricing options available:

    • Grandstand Admission - Possibly the most popular of the enclosures at Epsom, located right next to the Queen’s Stand and provides some excellent views across the whole racecourse
    • The Upper Tattenham Enclosure - This is an open air grass area situated next to the Grandstand with great viewing by the rails running the length of the finishing straight up to Tattenham Corner
    • The Hill - In addition to the above, access to the centre of the course the area known as The Hill is free to pedestrians on Derby day but with a full range of facilities.

    Our Grandstand Enclosure tickets give you entry into the largest enclosure at Epsom. The superb Grandstand, where the Duchess's Stand is located, provides an excellent relaxed atmosphere to view the racing from the bookmakers’ ring and extensive stepping to take in all the action. The Grandstand gives you additional access to the Paddock and Bookmakers’ facilities. It provides some excellent views across the whole racecourse and is within easy reach of the betting hall and the entertainment on offer which includes bars, stands, music and food outlets. 

    Price includes return travel by coach and Grandstand Admission. First race is at 2pm and the last race is at 5.30pm.

    Guests are encouraged to dress up for the Investec Derby Festival, and a dress code does apply. Please click here for further information. 

    Customers cannot bring their own drinks, food or picnic into the Grandstand.

    Derby Day at Epsom Racecourse - Upper Tattenham Enclosure

    One of the faster growing enclosures at Epsom is the Upper Tattenham Enclosure. This is an open air grass area situated next to the Grandstand, and represents excellent value with great trackside viewing by the rails running the length of the finishing straight up to the pivotal Tattenham Corner. It is a pedestrian area with entertainment and a variety of food and drink units. There is access to the rails and bookmakers and sight of the big screen plus a large marquee for cover. You can bring your own picnic into this area.

    Price includes return travel by coach and Upper Tattenham Enclosure Admission. First Race is at 2pm and the Last Race is at 5.30pm

    There is no formal dress code in the Upper Tattenham Enclosure but racegoers should be aware that they will be outside with no cover so it is always best to take note of the weather forecast before heading to the track.

    The Family Enclosure On The Hill is a relatively new enclosure designed to provide families with the opportunity to enjoy the renowned atmosphere of the Downs in a safe, family friendly environment. Whilst you may not get the best view of the racing from here, you can easily soak up the atmosphere on a budget. With access to exclusive toilet facilities, bars, betting facilities, picnic tables, catering units serving a variety of options and a big screen to watch the racing, this is a fabulous way for adults and children alike to experience one of Britain's biggest days out in a comfortable, family environment. Plus, there is a host of complimentary entertainment to keep the kids occupied and exercised throughout the day. Food and drink for own consumption can also be brought into this enclosure at no cost.
     
    PLEASE NOTE: The Hill enclosure is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the coach park.

  • Brick Lane Music Hall 25th Anniversary & Lunch

Valjean begins an honourable new life in anonymity but when an innocent man is arrested for his crime, Valjean surrenders his new life and confesses his identity to the court.This story is a powerful tale of love, courage and emotion and manages to pinch sympathy and forgiveness towards Valjean, despite his former villain façade.

  • Royal Ascot "Ladies Day" Coach Trip

    Visit the world's most famous racecourse where tradition, pageantry, fashion and style all meet in one glorious setting. A perfect excuse to enjoy the Best of British!

    Although the whole week at Royal Ascot is a fashion show like no other, it is Thursday when the designer creations and millinery masterpieces reach the greatest heights.

    Thursday’s highlight and feature race is the Group 1 Gold Cup, a battle of stamina and determination over two miles and four furlongs. This gruelling long distance world championship is not for the faint-hearted.

    One of the most glamorous events in the British racing calendar, you can enjoy an eyeful of fashion as well as a good day's racing! This coach day trip to the premier occasion is pure fun, so put on your finery and join us! (Smart dress code is required)

    After joining our coach, we travel to Ascot for our day of racing. Your ticket includes a Silver Ring or Grandstand entrance ticket where you can place your bets and soak up the atmosphere for a fabulous day out. After the last race, the coach will take you back to your original joining point.

    Please choose between Windsor Enclosure (formerly Silver Ring) and Queen Anne Enclosure (formerly Grandstand) admission at the time of booking.

    Located on the straight mile, the Windsor Enclosure is a vibrant and exciting enclosure that puts racing and socialising at the centre of the event. Guests within the Windsor Enclosure will be the first to see the Royal Procession as The Queen’s landau passes the railings and will be the first to hear the thunder of the hooves as the world best racehorses reach the final straight. It also boasts delicious food and drink outlets, providing guests with the opportunity to experience spectacular cuisine without the formalities of other enclosures. Although no formal dress code applies in the Windsor Enclosure, racegoers are encouraged to wear smart clothes.

    Queen Anne Enclosure admission offers guests an enhanced experience of Royal Ascot. With the Parade Ring centrally located, Queen Anne Enclosure admission guests will be able to enjoy the pre-race build-up then watch the magnificent horses charge down the home straight from elevated vantage points. Guests can also enjoy varied restaurants and bars throughout the day. Ladies in the Queen Anne Enclosure are encouraged to dress as for a formal occasion. A hat, headpiece or fascinator should be worn at all times. Gentlemen are required to wear a suit with a shirt and tie.

    Picnics are allowed in the Windsor Enclosure only. However, they must be brought to the racecourse in a picnic hamper or cool bag/box. Many of our customers choose to have their picnic on arrival before heading on to the course.

  • The Girls at the Phoenix Theatre

    Based on the true story, film and stage play of Calendar Girls, this new musical comedy features original music by Gary Barlow and lyrics by Tim Firth, who wrote the original screenplay and West End play.

    The story follows the real-life women of a Yorkshire WI group who decide to raise money for a local hospital by posing nude for a calendar. The ladies become media sensations as the calendar flies off the shelves and must deal with the scrutiny that comes from life in the limelight.

    The Girls makes its West End debut after originally opening in Leeds, where it received standing ovations at every performance.

  • RHS Gardens Hyde Hall

    A visit to the RHS Hyde Hall estate is unforgettable in any season and allows visitors to immerse themselves in nature. Hyde Hall is in an area of Essex that has very low rainfall, and this factor, combined with the soil conditions and exposed nature of the site, makes it a challenging area for gardening. A visit will show that by choosing the right plants for the right places and by working with the prevailing conditions, it is possible to create a garden of beauty. See Hyde Hall's gardens and enjoy peaceful walks, gardening inspiration & gorgeous views over the open countryside.

    Our visit on coincides with the popular annual Hyde Hall Flower Show. Visitors can browse, buy and pick up advice from a large range of specialist nurseries and garden trade stands, often including many RHS Chelsea Flower Show and RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show medal winners.

This riotous comedy follows the impulsive Mr Toad whose insatiable need for speed lands him in serious trouble. With his beloved home under threat from the notorious Chief Weasel and his gang of sinister Wild Wooders, Toad must attempt a daring escape leading to a series of misadventures and a heroic battle to recapture Toad Hall.   • Eastbourne & The International Air Show

    The Eastbourne International Airshow, also called Airbourne, is now one of the world’s biggest free seafront airshows.

    Participating aircraft include the Royal Air Force, Army, Navy, Civilian, Display teams, Warbirds, and International aircraft. There are also many ground attractions including a funfair, stalls, exhibits, arena displays, helicopter rides, and plenty of entertainment for the kids including giant inflatables, and trampolining on two designated beach areas.

    Alternatively, you can of course enjoy free time at leisure in the charming seaside resort of Eastbourne. Five miles of promenade run along the beaches leading you past the stunning Carpet Gardens, the famous 1930s bandstand, historic Napoleonic Towers and the famous Victorian Pier, majorly damaged by fire in 2014. Or you may wish to take in the good shopping in the landscaped pedestrianised town centre.

    We will depart for home at around 5.30 to 6pm.

  • LONDON ANIMAL ANTICS

    A great short break to London with an overnight stay, featuring tickets to see Disney's The Lion King, dinner at The Rainforest Cafe, and an extended visit to London Zoo.

    A perfect night away for anyone who loves animals or the magic of Disney!

    ITINERARY

    Day 1 - Sunday
    Travel from Kent by coach to London and we start our stay with a roar with Sunday matinée tickets to see Disney’s The Lion King. This adaptation of Disney's much-loved film transports audiences to a dazzling world. Set against the majesty of the Serengeti Plains and to the evocative rhythms of Africa, Disney's multi-award winning musical The Lion King will redefine your expectations of theatre. The spectacular production explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music to tell the timeless story of Simba and his epic journey to fulfil his destiny as King of the Pridelands. This wonderful, acclaimed show for all ages should not be missed!

    Subject to travel, you should have some free time for lunch or sightseeing before the show in nearby Covent Garden.

    After the show, we head over to the famous Rainforest Cafe at Piccadilly Circus. The Rainforest Cafe is a unique and vibrant restaurant bringing together the sights and sounds of the jungle with a collection of moving animatronics, waterfalls and tropical fish tanks.

    Following our meal, we head to our hotel base for the night - The Ibis London Earls Court.

    Day 2 - Monday
    After a leisurely breakfast, we travel to ZSL London Zoo, the world's oldest scientific zoo and one of the most famous Zoos in the world! Embark on a wild adventure and discover over 650 amazing animal species right in the heart of the capital. With specialist areas to explore such as Gorilla Kingdom, Tiger Territory, Penguin Beach, Meet the Monkeys, Butterfly Paradise and many more! Land of the Lions is a brand new enclosure for London Zoo's Asiatic lions, which only opened in 2016. The enclosure is 2,500 square metres in size, and designed to resemble the Gir Forest National Park in India. Set in the heart of London's majestic Regent's Park, London Zoo boasts not only a vast array of amazing animals, but also beautiful gardens, fine art and astounding architecture. We will aim to arrive just in advance of the opening time at 10:00hr.
     
    We will leave London at approx 1600hr to return to Kent.

  • Annie the Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre

    Set in 1930s New York during the Great Depression, the classic story follows orphan Annie, who is forced to face a life of misery at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage.

    Her luck changes though when she’s chosen to spend a fairy tale Christmas with famous billionaire Oliver Warbucks; although, the spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and soon hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her true family…

    In this thrilling new production, the tyrannical Miss Hannigan will be played by award-winning comedian Miranda Hart, who makes her West End debut in the role.

    Featuring unforgettable songs such as It’s a Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street and Tomorrow, Annie was first seen on Broadway in 1977, and went on to win seven Tony Awards.
